Job insecurity

Well, friends, for the last 3 months I've been working as a temp at a company here in Nashville. I work in customer service, processing debit and credit card payments to the IRS. The job is not bad. The office is nice. The people are nice. But my contract is up soon, and I still don't know if they're gonna hire me, or even extend my contract. I've tried to get an answer from the company, but it's like talking to a brick wall. It sucks being in limbo, not knowing if I'm gonna be employed or not in the next few weeks.

Update: Fri, May 23, 2008 - Today I just learned they will extend my contract till September. I guess I still have a job.

St. Patrick's Day

St. Patrick's day was March 17. It is a great American tradition to drink green beer on that day.
